IMPORTANT OPERATIONAL POINTS

• A tour would operate on a minimum operational strength of 4 riders and maximum 15 riders. Incase minimum operational strength is not met or minimum 4 riders are not booked on a group departure, the tour departure would be cancelled and persons booked would be intimated 30 days prior to departure date. Any deposits made by person booked towards tour cost/ booking would be refunded 100% and full refund is entitled only when the company cancels the tour on its own decision. Incase booked person would still like to travel, arrangements for same can be made and any extra costs/ supplements applicable would have to be paid directly over the group tour cost already paid. Also a person booked would be provided with an opportunity or date to join other group departure date and incase he/ she is willing or interested to join another group of same tour programme on a different date, he/ she would be accommodated We “Himalayan Saga” reserve the right to cancel or change the date of group departure within 30 days of an advertised date of departure.
• It is in the nature of a holiday of this kind (Adventure Tour) to be flexible. The day to day agenda and ultimate goal of the tour is taken as an aim and not as a contractual obligation. We shall not be responsible for the delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred due to rain, landslides, flood, conflict, internal flight delay or cancellations, strikes, sickness, weather, war, vehicle problems, political closures and disputes. Any alterations in programmes and any extra expenses thus incurred due to any reason beyond our control has to be settled directly if such charges come up to make necessary amendments and arrangements for a safe passage. Failing direct settlement of expenses, the company in operation would have to furnish us a guarantee of payment in writing and make payments before the tour services terminates.
• Motor Biking is an adventure activity and the rates do not cover any insurance, risk cover, damages, claims etc. A person coming on adventure tour has to be covered for adventure travel & activities apart from normal travel insurance. Himalayan Saga or any of its service providers would not be liable in any case for any mishap/ loss etc.
• A person should be covered under travel insurance and the insurance should also include adventure travel indicating riding a motorbike in India. Our tour costs do not include any travel insurance/ repatriation charges/ damages/ claims etc incase of any eventuality.
• Your participation in a trip is entirely at your own risk. We are NOT responsible or liable for any injuries you may suffer, fatal or otherwise. Also, we are NOT responsible for any loss or damage to your property, including your motorcycle, irrespective of how any damage may have been caused.
• We will provide Himalayan 411 cc or Scram 411 cc as per itinerary (with Fuel)
• Mechanic would carry basic spares for the bikes. Any damage to bike have to be paid in cash to us on the day damage due to a fall/ accident etc has occurred. You will be presented with a damage report with prices etc and same would have to be settled on day of damage itself or an undertaking in writing given to us that same to be settled against the Refundable security deposited with us. If the damages are more than the security amount of USD 300 it has to be paid during the tour only on day of damages.
• General spare changes like wires, spark plug & engine oil are covered in price. Any major engine failure is also covered under our price. However, certain spares which depend mainly on rider riding & operating the bike like chain set, tyre burst/ change, rim damage etc would have to be paid and are not covered under the price.
• This tour has to be confirmed at least 60 days before arrival date and a minimum USD 500 per rider non refundable deposit would be required and balance to be paid minimum 45 days before start of tour. At the start of the tour, a refundable security/ damage deposit of USD 200 per rider would have to be made to Himalayan Saga which has to be in cash only.
• Once tour starts and if any participant chooses to discontinue his tour due to any reason owing to bad health/ injury/ sickness/ urgency/ any other reason, there would be no refund & services not availed under package would not be exchangeable. Any extra services availed would be payable directly in cash as extra.
• On discontinuing the tour due to any reason owing to health reasons/ personal reasons or any other reason, the participant can leave the bike behind and depending on location of bike, there would be transportation charges levied for bringing bike back to garage (Manali) and charges can range from USD 300 – USD 500 per bike which would be payable extra in cash only.
• Damage of the bikes of any kind due to any accident/ fall or any other reason etc during the tour would have to be paid by the guest as per actual cost occurred for the damage.
• In case of any eventuality of any kind, bike damages have to be paid. Also guest has to have his own travel insurance from country of origin which covers such a tour.
• Bike rider need to have a valid International Driving License which should cover driving a Two Wheeler/ motorcycle of 500 cc
• The accompanying guide (coordinator) would ride the bike
• Group members would have to get own helmets/ knee guard/ elbow guards/ shoes/ biking trousers & jackets. Wearing a helmet is mandatory
• Foreign nationals should also have all travel documents in original
  
  

IMPORTANT NOTE

• Services subject to full advance payments only
• Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/ stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.
• For any adventure tour a person should be covered under travel insurance. All our rates do not include any travel insurance/ repatriation charges/ damages/ claims etc incase of any eventuality. Insurance cover has to be from the guests country of origin only and cannot be done here in India on arrival
• Please note, the names of hotels mentioned above only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels. It is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey the confirmations to you on receipt of your acceptance. However in the event of any of the above mentioned hotels not becoming available at the time of initiating the reservations, we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the  difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
  
  

COMPANY LIABILITY

• A person booking any of group departure or tour of Himalayan Saga would have to give an undertaking stating that he/ she has been communicated very clearly all the Terms & Conditions of the tour and he/ she understand fully the risks involved in a holiday of this kind and incase of any death, accident, mishap that may occur during the course of tour would be his/ her sole responsibility and the company or any of its associates/ team members would not be responsible or liable in any case.

• The booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize the potential risks and hazards that can be involved in holidays of this kind. Himalayan Saga, along with our leaders/guides and anyone else working in association with us cannot be held responsible for any death, accident or mishap that may occur in connection with any part of, or services connected with the holiday.
• The cost is for the entire package and there would be no refunds in case any part of the package is not availed.
• A person should be covered under travel insurance and the insurance should also include adventure travel indicating riding a motorbike in India. Our tour costs do not include any travel insurance/ repatriation charges/ damages/ claims etc incase of any eventuality

PAYMENT & RESERVATION TERMS

• You can make reservations with us by advising us your acceptance of the tour and travel dates along with a booking deposit of USD 500 per person.
• Incase travel dates lie within four weeks of period we would require full payments in advance to initiate reservations. We would immediately proceed to make tentative bookings. All services would be kept on confirmed basis on receipt of full advance payments only.
• Balance payment to be made 45 days before tour starting date. Failure to receive  balance would allow us to offer your seat to the next wait listed person and booking amount would be forfeited.
• Payments to be made by bank transfer and any charges charged by your bank to make the transfer would have to be borne at your end.
  
  

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

• No cancellation charges applicable if cancelled 90 days before tour starting date. Booking amount will be refunded after deducting any bank charges/ tax/ TDS etc which may be applicable
• USD 500 which is booking amount is charged as cancellation charges incase you wish to cancel your booking for any reason within 90-45 days prior to tour starting date.
• 50% of total tour cost would be charged if cancelled due to any reason within 44 – 30 days of tour starting date
• 100% of total tour cost would be charged if cancelled due to any reason within 29 – 0 days of tour starting date
• Any refunds would be processed within 1 – 15 working days of our bank
